Below, not only will you find five great tried-and-true items that would be worthy of your hard-earned cash even at their full value, you’ll be privy to some truly incredible prices that beat out every other trusted retailer’s on the market. From a waffle maker that will totally transform your morning brunch game to an AC window unit that will cool you off in a jiff, these are the five best Amazon deals to shop this Friday.

1. Nearly $100 off: One of our favorite waffle makers

We're ready for brunch.
We’re ready for brunch.

There’s something about quarantine that lends itself to culinary exploration, particularly in the breakfast department. Rather than ingesting that tired old bowl of oatmeal, why not switch things up with a scrumptious homemade waffle? One of our favorite waffle makers, the Cuisinart WAF-F20 double Belgian machine, is nearly $100 off right now on Amazon, falling from $185 to $99.95 to $94.95 when you check the coupon box beneath the price. As our former best overall pick (it was recently knocked out of the top spot by the Cuisinart WAF-V100 vertical waffle maker, now unavailable), the WAF-F20 can churn out thick and fluffy waffles that are tender on the inside with the best of them. It can make two waffles at a time, and we also noted that it felt truly solid and well-built.

2. Half off: This highly-valued knife block set

You won't find a much better value in a knife set.
You won’t find a much better value in a knife set.

When it comes to knife sets, you typically get what you pay for, but Cuisinart’s C77TR-15P triple-riveted collection 15-Piece knife block set offers up great value for the price—especially since it’s currently marked down to $79.99, which is half off its usual $160. The included chef’s knife is comfortable and offers great balance while the 5-inch Santoku knife will be a lifesaver for those with smaller hands when it comes to dicing veggies and the like. Each blade is made from a high-carbon stainless steel, and you’ll get an 8-inch chef’s knife, a 5-inch Santoku knife, a 3.5-inch paring knife, an 8-inch serrated bread knife, a 4.5-inch utility knife, an 8-inch slicing knife, a honing steel, kitchen shears, six steak knives, plus a large, wooden block with your purchase.

Get the Cuisinart C77TR-15P Triple-Riveted Collection 15-Piece Knife Block Set for $79.99 (Save $80.01)

3. Save 14%: The best dishwasher rack we’ve ever used

Leaving your dishes to dry in the sink is for the birds. Do yourself a favor and pick up this PremiumRacks professional dish rack—a.k.a. the very best dish rack we’ve ever tested. Unlike most dish racks, which take up a ton of (unattractive) space, this one has a genius double-decker design that allows you all the drying room you could want for in a compact format: use the bottom rack bowls and colanders and the top one for plates. There’s also a side basket for cutlery and a second lidded basket for your sharp knives. The only thing that may disappoint? The cup holder clips, which we found to be a bit flimsy. Still, with options to either let the water pool onto a draining board underneath the rack or be tipped into the sink, we found this organizer to be a solid buy that was both handy and generally sturdy.

Get the PremiumRacks Professional Dish Rack for $59.99 (Save $10)

4. $29 off: This super quiet window AC unit

Ice, ice baby.
Ice, ice baby.

It’s heating up out there, and if you don’t have central AC, a window air conditioner is a must. While we haven’t tested this specific unit—the MIDEA EasyCool MAW08R1BWTwe did try out a smart air conditioner with the same BTUs (8,000) from the brand, dubbing it one of the best on the market. In our tests, the smart model registered a 10 degree Fahrenheit and a 15-percent humidity drop in a 340 square-foot room in just one hour on an absurdly hot day. This EasyCool model won’t come with the same smart features as our test unit, but buyers, of which there are more than 700 on Amazon, say it effectively cools rooms and operates super quietly.

Get the MIDEA EasyCool MAW08R1BWT Window Air Conditioner for $269.99 (Save $29.01)

5. Less than $20: A smart device you can plug into your wall

This minuscule smart device, which is just slightly larger than a deck of cards, can be plugged into your outlet for easy smart home usage. While we wouldn’t recommend using the Echo Flex as a speaker, per se—it’s compact size definitely doesn’t lend itself to high-quality sound—we do think it’s absolutely perfect for those looking to control your other smart devices, check the weather, hear the news or chat it up with Alexa, a.k.a. Amazon’s voice assistant, without adding a bulky piece to your room. Today, you can snag it for just $17.49, which is 33% off its normal $24.99.

Get the Echo Flex for $17.49 (Save $7.50)
