Houck Construction Inc is hiring for a full-time Interior Designer with 5+ years of design experience in the residential remodel and build space.
Role:
The Interior Designer will be responsible for successfully leading the execution of luxury residential interior design projects from start to finish in direct collaboration with clients and the CEO. The ideal candidate will be creative, analytical, organized, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong construction experience (both ground up and remodel) is required.
Responsibilities:
Lead interior design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
Manage client communication throughout the design phase of the project.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, clients, and internal staff to confirm accurate specifications for projects.
Creating floor plans and elevations preferably using AutoCAD
Researching, sourcing, and pricing items such as furniture, fabrics, accessories, finishes, lighting, etc.
Material selections
Preparing client presentations and proposals.
Coordinating and attending client meetings
Skills
Design software skills such as AudoCad, Sketch-up, etc.
Ability to manage 4-8 projects concurrently and successfully.
Knowledge and experience with construction management software.
Strong construction design problem solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
