Clearview Library District

Storytime with ASL with Miss Christy is set for 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 26 on the library’s YouTube channel. The program, geared for children ages 0-6, will use basic American Sign Language to teach children different words as they sing songs and share stories. Registration is not required to attend. Teens and children ages 6-12 are invited to sign up to participate in Getty Crafty— Beaded Inidan Corn Craft at 4:30 p.m. Monday over Zoom. Participants will use pipe cleaners and beads to construct colorful Indian corn decorations for fall. Registration is required to attend and can be done by going to https://bit.ly/3EwLOap.

The bookmobile is scheduled to make a stop at 6 p.m. Monday at Severance Shores Park located at 1626 Shoreview Parkway. All ages of adults, teens and children are invited to come out and see what the bookmobile has to offer.

Y is for Yoga is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday on the library’s YouTube channel. The program will teach children ages 0-6 years all about the letter “y” through books, songs rhymes and yoga with Miss Andrea. Registration is not required to view the program. The bookmobile will be making a stop at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Windsor Charter Academy, 680 Academy Court. All ages are invited to come and see what the bookmobile has to offer.

Childcare providers and their kids are invited to a special storytime at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Windsor-Severance Library, 720 3rd St. The event will feature books, songs, music and dancing with Miss Andrea for children ages 0-6 years and their care providers. Come see what the bookmobile has to offer when it makes a stop at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Windshire Park, 1520 Dartford Drive in Windsor. All ages are invited to come out and see what materials the bookmobile has to offer.

The Library Board is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Windsor-Severance Library at 720 3rd St. All ages are welcome to attend the meeting and provide feedback, ask questions and learn about upcoming events and activities. For more information, contact the library at (970) 686-5603.

Gather the family for the Family Cooking Challenge: Pumpkin at 4 p.m. Friday on the library’s YouTube channel. The program will explore how to incorporate pumpkin into dishes. G.L.O.W., an inclusive youth group for teens ages 12-18, is set to meet at 4:30 p.m. in the large meeting room at the Windsor-Severance Library at 720 3rd St. Kim from SPLASH will be in attendance to update the group on events and activities taking place in the community. Celebrate the end of the week at Family Movie Night at 7 p.m. in the parking lot of the library at 720 3rd St. The event will feature a screening of the movie, “Holes,” based on the book by Louis Sachar. High Plains Library District

Children and their caregivers are invited to participate in the Farr Music and Movement Storytime at 9:30 a.m. Monday at 1939 61st Ave., Greeley.  The program will get children and their caregivers up, out and moving together to strengthen motor skills and encourage early literacy skills. Riverside Readers group is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday online. The group will be discussing the book, “The Nightingale,” by Kristin Hannah. Centennial Park Preschool Storytime at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Centennial Park Library, 2227 23rd Ave. is designed to help children embrace the love of literacy and books. The Eaton Library ASL Chat is scheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday at 132 Maple Ave. The chat will connect community members of all ages together to practice their American Sign Language skills and socialize. Calling all true crime fans! The True Crime Storytime Book Club will be meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Farr Regional Library at 1939 61st St. in Greeley. The group will be reading the book, “The Lost Girls,” by Robert Kolker and talking about the Gilgo Beach Murders. The club is open to adults age 18 years and older and registration is required. Teens ages 12-18 years can learn how to make different beats for songs at the Beat Making Lab at 4 p.m. Wednesday at 2227 23rd Ave. in Greeley. Children of all ages are welcome to attend the the Riverside Cultural Storytime at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Riverside Library and Cultural Center, 3700 Golden St., Evans for songs, stories, rhymes and more. The event will feature different cultures and customs from countries around the world. The storytime is limited to the first 15 people and is first come, first served. Introduction to Google Suite and Google Apps is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at the Farr Regional Library, 1939 61st St. in Greeley. The class will teach adults age 18 years and older how Google Suite apps can work across all devices, how users can collaborate with others through the apps and more. BuzzWords, the library’s nonfiction beer and book discussion group, will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Verboten, 127 E. 5th St. The group will be discussion the book, “The Spy and The Traitor,” by Ben MacIntyre. Teens ages 11-17 years are invited to participate in Tinker Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at the library located at 300 N.
