As a big box store, Lowe’s is one of the nation’s biggest sellers of live Christmas trees. And while you would assume most of that would be in person, you can also order a live tree from Lowe’s website and have it delivered in just a few days. While the options online are slightly more limited than they would be in store—and you can’t inspect the tree before you get it—it’s pretty cool that you can get a Christmas tree by mail. Lowe’s also has fresh wreaths, garland, poinsettias and table arrangements, so it’s truly a one-stop shop.

2. Home Depot
Home Depot has quite a lot of live greenery on offer—from wreaths to garlands to plants—though whether you can get certain items delivered depends on where you live. (If a garland is coming from a farm in Maine, you probably can’t get it in Arizona, for instance, lest you open up a box of brown needles.) Home Depot shoppers seem particularly keen on this set of wax-covered Amaryllis bulbs. Requiring almost no care at all, the bulbs produce stunning oversized Christmas flowers, with many people noting their plants were still flowering well into February. Now that’s bang for your buck.

A subscription-based site, UrbanStems is a solid choice if you’re looking to keep your greenery fresh and new all holiday season long. There are two different plans—the Holiday Decor and the Season’s Greetings—and options start at about $250 for four weeks of plant deliveries. We’re partial to the Season’s Greetings, which will net subscribers a 24-inch evergreen and magnolia wreath, a beautiful bouquet of dried white flowers, a white orchid in a gold vessel and a festive holiday bouquet and vase that will arrive just in time for Christmas dinner.

It can be tedious to sift through Amazon’s many, many artificial floral offerings, but you can also find fresh holiday greenery at the mega retailer. There aren’t a ton of options, but what it offers seems to be good quality and positively reviewed. Pick up a sustainably grown holiday mantlepiece for $60 or a pre-decorated 18-inch Norfolk Island pine for $30. You can even get a 12-foot coil of pine rope garland delivered through Amazon Prime before Christmas Eve.

You really can get anything on Etsy. A number of indie retailers are selling holiday greenery on the site, from fresh evergreen branches to googly eyed, Santa hat-wearing potted cactuses. You can also order poinsettias in a whole array of colors, as well as scented swags of juniper branches. We’re especially intrigued by the boxes of fresh-berried holly you can pre-order, which Etsy users seem to really love.

A floral powerhouse for years, FTD is always a go-to if you’re looking to get flowers delivered right to your doorstep. FTD offers more than just blooms, though: This holiday season, the site also has holiday centerpieces, wreaths and even pre-decorated mini Christmas trees. The 6-foot Canelia garland would be a beautiful addition to any mantle, and the holiday snowflake wreath is a fun twist on a Christmas classic.

7. The Sill
The Sill is a charmingly bespoke plant retailer that’s a great place all year to find quality plants at relatively affordable prices. The Sill’s holiday collection is small but mighty—you’ll find lush desktop pines, a sizable evergreen wreath and even a cute little Christmas cactus.

One of our experts’ favorite places to buy plants online, Terrain has a surprisingly extensive selection of beautifully bespoke holiday greenery. (It is a sister store to Anthropologie, after all.) Its wreaths range from traditional numbers to wreaths laced with incense cedar, eucalyptus and dried flowers. If you want to push things even further out of the traditional Christmas box, you could opt for a wreath made of lush green moss. Terrain also offers beautiful garlands—like this one made of magnolia and pepperberry—as well as miniature living Christmas trees, in case you’re working with limited space and want to invest in something you could, in theory, have for years to come.

An online purveyor of—you guessed it—plants, Plants.com has a lot of fresh Christmas greenery available for purchase. Its holiday collection runs the gamut from Christmas cacti to vibrant poinsettias, desktop firs to a tree-shaped succulent garden. Another classic purveyor of birthday bouquets and Mother’s Day trinkets, ProFlowers also has an extensive selection of holiday greenery. Of course, it has beautiful bouquets but you can also pick up a succulent in a cute and modern-looking reindeer pot. This Amaryllis bulb garden would be a nice gift for yourself or a loved one, or you can capture a little Christmas coziness with this Wintergreen plant wrapped in a red knit cover.

11. Modern Sprout
If you’re looking to take a very, very minimalist approach to your holiday greenery, Modern Sprout is the site for you. Another of our favorite fresh plant retailers, Modern Sprout offers holiday versions of its popular Tiny Terracotta kits. The Nordic Spruce, for instance, is just three small branches—making it a bit more Charlie Brown than Rockefeller Center—but if you like a chic and modern vibe, this could be a great option.
